Sunstein: "We ought to ban hunting..."

In case you haven’t seen the April issue of America’s 1st Freedom, please hasten to click on “The World According to Cass,” and a shocking look at Cass Sunstein, President Barack Obama’s choice to run the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Author Marshall Lewin explains that this office is “a gatekeeper, reviewing every regulation submitted by each of the hundreds of federal agencies n the federal bureaucracy.”

The following excerpt tells us what kind of mentality we’re up against with Sunstein:

“In a keynote speech at a 2007 Harvard University conference called "Facing Animals," Sunstein said, "We ought to ban hunting, if there isn't a purpose other than sport and fun. That should be against the law. It's time now.

In fact, in his book Animal Rights: Current Debates and New Directions, Sunstein wrote, "Animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives, to prevent violations of current law ... Any animals that are entitled to bring suit would be represented by (human) counsel, who would owe guardianlike obligations and make decisions, subject to those obligations, on their clients' behalf ..."

This guy is a moron. If he actually ever went hunting he would realize that the animal has a greater advantage. "If there isn't a purpose other than sport and fun."--that includes, basketball, baseball, climbing, hiking, football, soccer, fishing, swimming, racing, the list goes on forever! jchone, you got it right on the money.

This gives added proof to everything NRA has been saying about Obama's gun-ban agenda.

Maybe Barack's expanded health care will be able to provide Sunstein with mental health counseling.

Maybe we should get a deer that was crippled in an auto collision to sue him for wanting to ban hunting. Can anyone really be this crazy?
