The National Rifle Association is proud to announce that its hit television show on Outdoor Channel, Friends of NRA, has been nominated for three 2012 Fan Favorite Golden Moose Awards.
Friends of NRA follows professional shooter Jessie Duff and retired baseball player Matt Duff as they travel across the United States to explore the history and impact of Friends of NRA, the multi-million dollar grassroots fund-raising program. Airing Sunday nights on Outdoor Channel, the show’s nominations come prior to the premiere of its third season on the network.
"We are thrilled with Friends of NRA’s nominations for this year’s Golden Moose Awards,” said Sarah Budi, Director of Volunteer Fundraising. “Matt and Jessie are not only great hosts, but excellent ambassadors for the Friends of NRA program. Thanks to the ease of voting and our large family of NRA supporters, we hope to show Outdoor Channel that Friends of NRA is their fans’ number one program.”
Presented during the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor & Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Outdoor Channel’s Golden Moose Awards celebrate the best and brightest of Outdoor Channel programming, producing and hosts.
Voting is free and open to the public on Outdoor Channel’s website (http://outdoorchannel.com/GMA.aspx) until December 29, 2012. Upon completion, voters are entered to win prize packs featuring branded jackets, backpacks, sweatshirts, hats and more. Additionally, the 1,000th, 5,000th, 10,000th and 15,000th voters will receive Outdoor Channel prize packs of increasing value.
